Aiea Couple Arrested on Federal Drug Charges After Major Meth Seizure

An Aiea couple with felony records has been arrested and charged with federal drug offenses following a DEA and Honolulu police investigation. Authorities seized over 40 pounds of methamphetamine, firearms, and more than $20,000 in cash. The investigation involved surveillance, a controlled drug buy, and searches that revealed extensive evidence of drug distribution activities. The couple is being detained pending trial.

Anna Miller Invites Guests to ‘Buy A Pie’ for the Less Fortunate This Thanksgiving

Anna Miller’s Restaurant is once again demonstrating its commitment to supporting the community by offering a special way to give back this Thanksgiving. Until November 26, guests can purchase pumpkin pies, which will then be donated and served during The Salvation Army’s annual Thanksgiving dinner event at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. The initiative, known as "Buy A Pie," will help provide a slice of holiday cheer to over a thousand individuals who are experiencing homelessness or have nowhere else to celebrate Thanksgiving.

The Thanksgiving dinner at Blaisdell will offer a free holiday meal to anyone in need, including a slice of the donated pumpkin pies. This long-standing partnership, now spanning over 25 years, continues to reflect Anna Miller’s dedication to uplifting those in difficult circumstances.

Anna Miller’s Restaurant is located at Pearlridge Center, on the corner of Kamehameha Highway and Kaonohi Street, making it easy for community members to stop by and contribute to this charitable cause.

Community:

Pearl City High School Craft Fair - The Pearl City High School Special Education Department will be having its annual Craft Fair and more on Sunday, November 24 at the Pearl City High School cafeteria from 9am - 2pm. Support small local businesses, PCHS student organizations, and community organizations. All proceeds go to support PCHS Special Education student activities.

The Tree Wise Guys - Leeward Community Church’s Children’s Christmas Program. A modern retelling of the three wise men’s journey during their children’s Christmas program. December 1st at 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The event features music, games, food, and door prizes. Free admission, but advance ticket reservation is required by November 24th.
